Stock/Securities Donation

Giving via stock donations can increase your gift to ONE-SLEEPY HOLLOW – and your tax deduction – in one move! You can make a greater impact by donating long-term appreciated stocks. Compared with donating cash or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction. Consult your accountant to understand the tax benefits for you.

Please complete and submit THIS FORM to initiate your stock donation. The form is also available below.

This form serves two purposes. First, it notifies ONE of your intent to donate and allows it to designate the funds according to your wishes when the funds arrive. Second, it will generate a PDF, sent to you via e-mail, for you to share with your financial advisor to authorize the transaction. The PDF will also include ONE’s brokerage account information for the donation.

If you wish to donate securities to support ONE-SLEEPY HOLLOW, please follow the three simple steps below:

1) Fill out the ONE Stock Donation form. It will generate a PDF which includes ONE’s brokerage deposit account information.  

2) Send the Stock Donation Form pdf to your your brokerage firm to authorize the transaction. 

3) Lastly, please email the Sleepy Hollow fundraising team at shpcfundraising@gmail.com to inform us of your securities donation. This is vital so that we may ensure your donation is tracked to our ONE-SLEEPY HOLLOW bank account where it will directly support Sleepy Hollow School. It also enables us to acknowledge your generous gift.
